Placing a time trial near the Wisconsin boarder yet close to Chicago is tricky. Much of Lake County has too much traffic. Richmond is about as close as we've been able to come. This area has some very nice roads to boot. This 30k race will pass within a few hundred feet of Wonder Lake and past the south edge of Glacial Park. Then continuing on to do a loop near the very small Village of Greenwood (population 244). This race will provide another chance at hill points towards the overall hill climbing jersey. This race will also be the last opportunity to get into the top six positions overall in the series. Those six will have a ticket punched to race against the pros in the time trial at the Tour of Elk Grove.
